The neighborhood traces its history to the William and Elizabeth Irving Donation Land Claim of 1851 as well as several small adjoining subdivisions. The neighborhood streets were laid out in 1887, and residential lots began selling in 1891. Each year, the Irvington Home Tour is held on the third Sunday of May .

For an app, it had a good run. I still have the data and photos, still have the original source code. And even a partially-completed rewrite of a web version. But like so many good things, the project simply hasnt ever really been sustainable, and I have too many exciting projects going on at the moment to give it the attention it needs.
